Tohtoročná hurikánová, tajfúnova a cyklónová sezóna opäť posunie laťku v sile a intenzite týchto tropických cyklonálnych systémov. Už hurikán Lorenzo sa historický najviac priblížil k Európe a na záver sezóny očakávame super tajfún Hagabis, ktorý podľa súčasných parametrov by mal byť najsilnejší.
